The Whistler Society Annual General Meeting will be held on 30th October 2025 at
6:30 PM at Auriens, 2 Dovehouse Street, London SW3. Refreshments will be served
from 6 PM. Please use this link to confirm your attendance.
Our guest speaker will be Carol Jacobi, Curator of British Art 1850-1915 at Tate
Britain. She will discuss the first major European exhibition of Whistler’s work in 30
years which she is curating for Tate Britain. It will bring together the artist’s world-
famous paintings alongside rarely, or never, seen works. Including exquisite portraits,
drawings, prints and designs from as early as his teens in St. Petersburg
to the enigmatic later self-portraits.
