An evening visit to Whistler’s tomb including visiting St. Nicholas’ Church and a guided walk. along Chiswick Mall led by the Chairman of the Society, David Le Lay. Ending with drinks and supper at the Black Lion, W6 9TJ (not included in the ticket price).

On 23 July 1903 Whistler was Buried next to his wife Beatrice at Chiswick after a funeral at Chelsea old church.

We meet at 6.30 sharp at the north end of St. Nicholas’ Church, at the junction between Church Street and Powell’s Walk. Nearest underground is Stanford Brook (District line)
